No-Sew Fabric Appliques

No-sew fabric appliques, such as the one pictured above by Daisy Kingdom, are a fun, easy, and quick way to embellish clothing, creating a unique look. They are usually just ironed into place using fusible web, which can be purchased at your local craft center, and raw edges finished with slick paint or other techniques.

Create Home Accents by Crocheting Fabric Strips

Here is a great idea for recycling fabric from worn clothing or making use of left over material from sewing projects...budget friendly too. Create wonderful home accents by crocheting strips of fabric together as seen in McCall's 6037 craft pattern. You crochet with fabric similarly as you would with yarn, using primarily single crochet stitches. Why not give it a try and make a wonderfully creative and practical accent for the home?
